Use of machine learning to integrate clinical data and biomarkers to optimise prediction of TFR. Winner of the first International John Goldman Research Award

Activity: Invited talks and oral presentationsInvited Keynote and Plenary Presentations

Description

I was awarded the inaugural international John Goldman Research Award in a highly competitive global competition, requiring me to develop a predictive model of treatment-free remission in CML. My ground-breaking work clarified how we can identify CML patients who may be able to achieve remission and discontinue therapy safely.

For this achievement I was awarded a Virtual Medal from the Italian Embassy in Australia and I received a Congratulation letter from the Premier of South Australia, the Hon Steven Marshall.
