Personal profile

Public Profile

I have worked in healthcare for over 30 years, initially as a registered nurse with a general medical nursing background, moving into the patient safety field for over 20 years. During this time I worked across various patient safety domains, predominantly collecting, analysing and disseminating patient safety data from healthcare related incident reports as well as been involved in the development of various healthcare incident reporting software systems both as the content knowledge expert and principal ontologist. I have also performed consultancy work for the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA), WHO and various medical colleges. This passion for patient safety lead me to my current position as Project Manager for the TAVI Registry.
