Dr Bridget Arman is an Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Women and Kid's theme at SAHMRI (South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute). Working within the Supporting Neurodevelopment Program, her research focuses on the nutritional needs of preterm infants, with a particular emphasis on omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and their role in neonatal health and brain development.

Dr Arman's expertise spans many aspects of reproductive health including infertility, andrology, reproductive immunology, and pregnancy complications. Bridget is passionate about driving innovation in reproductive health and improving the outcomes for both pregnancies and infants, with a focus on translating research into meaningful clinical applications.

Dr Arman received her Bachelor of Health Sciences (Advanced; Majors in Reproductive Health and Biochemistry) at the University of Adelaide. She undertook her Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) at the University of Adelaide where she explored mechanisms linking embryo development and epigenetic changes. She completed her PhD within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Newborn Health at the University of Melbourne, where her research investigated new therapeutics for the prevention of preterm birth and specialised in human myometrium and pathways involved in parturition.
