I am currently working at SAHMRI as an analytical programmer for the ROSA. In this role I prepare datasets for researchers, create tables and figures for reports and perform ad-hoc data analysis. My work mostly involves coding in SAS with some SQL and R. The datasets I work with are quite large and include the MBS and PBS and Aged Care records. At the moment I am learning about Network Analysis to aid in visualising this data.
Before coming to SAHMRI, I worked for the Australian Bureau of Statistics, in Methodology Division and in Construction Statistics. In this job I specialised in Time Series Analysis including ARIMA forecasting, seasonal adjustment, and regression analysis of outliers.
I have an honours degree in Physics from the University of Adelaide where I also worked briefly as a research assistant at the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing (IPAS).
