Dr. Hansen is an accomplished epidemiologist and biostatistician with over 15 years of experience managing and analysing complex health datasets to inform policy and practice. Holding a PhD in Epidemiology (2006), Dr. Hansen has led research across diverse fields, including perinatal and child health, mental health, Indigenous health, pharmacoepidemiology, and aged care. Currently, Dr. Hansen serves as a senior epidemiologist at the Registry of Senior Australians (ROSA) at SAHMRI, where his research focuses on medication and vaccine safety among elderly Australians.
