Dr Ross is a clinician researcher with expertise in all aspects of chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) from laboratory diagnosis to treatment, clinical trials, and biology. He is a Consultant Haematologist in SA Pathology with clinical appointments at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, Australia. He was awarded a PhD (December 2009) for his thesis on minimal residual disease in CML in conjunction with leading a pioneering clinical trial of treatment-free remission for CML patients in deep molecular remission and associated correlative science projects. His aim is to provide a world-leading academic clinical service for people with CML and MPN, integrated with clinical and translational research.
