India studied a BSc (Hons) (Enhanced Program for High Achievers) at Flinders University, specialising in forensic and analytical chemistry. She has research experience in a number of areas, including medicinal chemistry, polymer science, illicit drugs and microplastics. At present, she is studying in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at Flinders Unviersity. Her aim is to conduct meaningful research to promote positive health outcomes on a local, national and global scale.

India, a Ngarrindjeri and Kaurna woman, is a passionate advocate for women and First Nations people within STEM. She is currently a Research Assistant at Telethon Kids Institute within the field of adolescent health, and an affiliate at SAHMRI. Her research endeavours to better understand factors leading to inequity within health outcomes, particularly in relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
