The GVL and Immunotherapy research group investigates the immune system of patients with CML and post stem cell transplant. My role as the Research officer within our small group involves a range of tasks. The main task is to process samples collected from the patients, store and catalogue the details for use in future research projects. The other tasks involve performing cell based assays and data entry to assist the Post-doctoral researcher and PhD student within the group.
