Dr Krzysztof Mrozik is a Beat Cancer Project Early Career Cancer Research Fellow. His research focuses on the incurable blood cancer myeloma. He is particularly interested in developing strategies to selectively increase drug delivery to sites of cancer in bone and to reduce drug exposure to healthy tissues, in order to reduce the impact of drug side effects in patients with myeloma. He is also investigating the role of aging in myeloma development and novel strategies to delay relapse in patients with myeloma.
