I worked for SARDI for 5 years as a Senior Technical Officer on PORK CRC funded research projects. My interest in pigs and large animal research developed and when the oppurtunity to develop my skills in small and large animal biomedical research, I moved to SAHMRI. After 7 years at SAHMRI I supervise a range of Animal Technicians that provide the best care for small and large animals. Our role is to support our vast range of researchers and ensure that the animal welfare, health, husbandry and care is gold standard. Im very passionate about our industry and the direction we are heading at SAHMRI PIRL.
