Thalia Salagaras is a Research Assistant in the Lifelong Health Theme of SAHMRI where she assists in the research of postdoctoral fellows, PhD candidates and Honours students. She is responsible for processing samples of a clinical trial, and patient specimen collections in the Vascular Research Centre. She is primarily involved with projects that focus on assessing novel targets which can assist in reducing plaque burden in atherosclerosis.
