Tina Brodie (BSW (Hons) GradCertCouns) is an Aboriginal woman with connections to Yawarrawarrka / Yandruwandha. Tina is a Research Fellow in Wardliparingga Aboriginal Health Equity at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). She is also a final year PhD Candidate at The University of Adelaide in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

Tina holds a Bachelor of Social Work, First Class Honours (Charles Sturt University) and a Graduate Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has over 15 years of experience in Aboriginal health and wellbeing in research, clinical, project and leadership roles. Tinas research explores Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social and Emotional Wellbeing, specifically the social determinants of health.

Tina also has expertise in Indigenous methodologies and engaging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities in research.
