Abstract

In this personal reflective piece we share the journeys that have led to us working in international and Indigenous health. While relatively new to the field, we have enjoyed varied clinical and public health work, both with Aboriginal communities and overseas. We have observed the similarities in delivering health care in these settings, and also the similarities in policy and programming. Just as our experiences have been complementary, we feel Indigenous health and International health can teach & learn from each other.
